Eating from the bank

Day 0.5: Preparing for Day 1

Tonight I prepared both lunch and dinner for my first day on a food bank diet. Mashed beans, a personal fave, and green beans. I received the green beans from the Fort York food bank on Friday, their current state of affairs is less than divine, but I think they may last me until Wednesday.. at least I hope. Freshness lies in the hands of a bag of depressed greens and 2 apples.

I realized that with the schedule of tomorrow’s Monday, I will have to pack myself both lunch and dinner, since under no conditions am I allowed to buy food.. interesting. It has culminated in a tupperware of mush: Nothing out of the usual.
